Moon

Moon shines in blue gray sky
a bit lopsided fuzzy white
reflects on my slanted blinds
I love the moon
Now she shines in a black sky
she ascends like a helium balloon
a wink and a smile back at earth
I love the moon
I loved lying on hill tops
dark sky so many stars
it scared me, the possibilities
city lights eliminate stars
Moon shines in black sky
higher and higher she soon
disappears
I am the moon
